Post transplant update

Right on schedule, Deann engrafted about 10 days after her last transplant. She was discharged from the hospital yesterday & is now back at our apartment in Salt Lake City. She did great getting through the transplant and related chemo-steroid treatments. That’s not to say she feels good...the usual effects are back in full force, but she’s determined as ever to get through it all. Not sure how long we’ll be here, probably another two weeks minimum, but after the last go round, we want to be sure she doesn’t leave here too soon. She thanks everyone for all the support & good thoughts...it means so much to her.

  1. Glad to hear you've engrafted! (Wish I could think of something that rhymes, but all I'm coming up with is "drafted." I guess this is boot camp though.) Thank you for being such a great example. Love and miss you. Here's to the next couple weeks being infection-free and each day being better than the last (that's me celebrating the engraftment and toasting you with Diet Pepsi).
